FEBRU...ANYONE?

Alot happened this month for us. 

It started off with a celebration of our 3rd year anniversary! 

Can you believe it? 

We got a babysitter and went to dinner at Fork downtown and then went to the Banff Film Festival! We had so much fun going out and just being together...the two of us...like the good ol' days. 

We met up with the Gardner family in Maui for their annual Hawaii trip and as always it was awesome!

It couldn't have come at a better time and we sure enjoyed every day of the warm sunny weather. We ended up taking our kids and it all went very smooth. They slept the whole way there and back and enjoyed playing in the water. 

The twins are now 5 months old and doing great. Time flies by so fast and we love them more and more each day!

KICKOFF TO 2013

After coming off a "high" from the Holiday's in December and being with family all month, January was a great month. I think all the excitement rejuvenated me to make it through the gloomiest month of all time! 

It started off with us going to Sun Valley for a weekend to get away from the freezing temperatures that we had here in Meridian. We walked around town and the resort, hiked Adam's gulch and Warm Springs, went running with the kids and pups and hung out doing misc at the house. Sun Valley is always so beautiful and peaceful. 

Next, it was off to McCall for the first time. They had their Winter Carnival going on and it was so much fun. We went to the parade, strolled through the town and all the vendor booths, outfitted ourselves with mardi gras beads, saw the sno-cross race, watched the fireworks, danced in the streets to the music, looked at all the ice sculptures and played numerous games of shuffleboard. It was such a neat little town and we can't wait to go back there again and do some outdoor exploring.

The twins turned 4 months and are doing fabulous! They just keep on getting bigger and healthier each month and we love it. They are very interactive and it is becoming super fun!

Little Lottie learned how to roll over from tummy to back...how exciting! 

BUSY - BUSY - BUSY

December was full of so many fun and exciting things. 

It started with a trip to Vegas for the NFR. We flew with the kids and they did awesome. They slept the whole time, there and back, and Sweets and I loved watching the Rodeo! 

In Salt Lake we got together for a fun white elephant Christmas exchange with the High School friends  and it didn't disappoint. We have missed seeing them and sharing in some laughs. 

Weston gave Ethan and Charlotte amazing blessings! It was such a beautiful night and they behaved very well. 

Christmas was a whirlwind. We saw the lights at Temple Square, had an ugly sweater party with the Arnell's, opened Christmas gifts with the Gardner's in Salt Lake and then opened gifts with the Arnell's in Midway. 

 

Ethan and Charlotte turned 3 months in December. We can't believe how fast they are growing. They are perfect children and we love them so much.

We spent New Year's in Sun Valley with the Gardner's and it was fantastic. It was cold and snowy and we loved it. It was the best way to close the year out!

So much has happened this year and we feel very blessed. We can't wait to see and experience what 2013 has to offer!
